Indigenous Kingdoms of Southern Africa NPC (IKOSA) is dedicated to the revival of precolonial indigenous sovereign kingdoms, disrupted by colonial and Voortrekker forces. We focus on the restoration of ancestral lands, the preservation of languages and cultures, and the empowerment of indigenous communities across Southern Africa.

IKOSA is a coalition of individuals and indigenous communities bound by a shared commitment to the rights and heritage of indigenous Southern Africans. Guided by a dedicated board and a passionate supporters, we work across national and local levels to advocate for legislative reform, empower communities, and enhance awareness of our shared cultural heritage.

Our team, from board members to field volunteers, consists of experts, cultural custodians, and advocates who are deeply connected to the cause. Together, we are committed to being a trusted, resilient force for positive change, fostering collaboration, respect, and recognition for the invaluable heritage of indigenous communities.
