
IKOSA Champions Youth Development Through the Ntshala Mokgatla U15 Soccer Tournament
The Indigenous Kingdoms of Southern Africa NPC (IKOSA), in partnership with Makgolokwe-a-Mafehleng’s Morake RHA, led by Morena Sebobane II, proudly supported the highly successful Ntshala Mokgatla Under 15 Soccer Tournament. This vibrant event took place on 24–25 August 2024 at Mbeleng Sports Ground, Refengkgotso-Deneysville, Vaaldam.
A Celebration of Youth Development and Community Spirit
Organized by MK Party Metsimaholo Sub-Region, under the leadership of Messrs Themba Xaba, Slow Mokone, and Khudu Mofokeng, the tournament highlighted IKOSA’s dedication to empowering youth, fostering community engagement, and promoting social responsibility.
The event brought together eight local U15 soccer clubs, who showcased their talent and determination in a spirited competition for the championship trophy. Hundreds of community members attended, creating an electrifying atmosphere of unity and celebration.

Raising Awareness About Social Issues
Beyond the thrilling matches, the tournament served as a platform to address critical social issues, emphasizing the dangers of substance abuse, drugs, and crime. By engaging the youth in positive activities, the event promoted healthy lifestyles and strengthened community bonds.
Recognizing Talent and Dedication
With support from IKOSA, Makgolokwe-a-Mafehleng, and other co-sponsors, the tournament distributed 80 certificates of participation to players, teams, and coaches. These certificates recognized their commitment and sportsmanship while encouraging ongoing involvement in constructive activities.
Speaking at the event, Morena Sebobane II underscored the significance of youth development initiatives. “This tournament is a shining example of how we can unite as a community to address critical social issues and inspire our young people to pursue brighter futures,” he remarked.
